Letter to Y. Toward geometrization of language 8 January 2018
03/05/2019 19:17
Dear Y.,
Thank you for the long way on Saturday.
I am also grateful for the improvements in the PC settings. I can't do it easily.
I talked to him a little at that time, but I was on the way while I was busy.
So I decided to write an email today. About the changing times.
My Twitter is usually about 20-30 a week and about 100-200 a month,
but it has changed a little since last year, and sometimes it exceeds 1000.
They are often papers that seem to be important to me, and are a bit different from mechanical access.
The access about language dimension introduced on twitter on December 24, 2017 was 3940 as of January 8th, and the note add edition version released on December 30th was 2441, which is the total. It is over 6300.
This article is about how the situation can be expressed mathematically, assuming that dimensions are inherent in the language, and is probably not very relevant to the average person.

I understand that the idea of dimension attracts many people, but it was inherent in the language. It will not extend to the average person until the mathematical examination of the case.
I've posted similar articles on my site on a daily basis, but with little response.
The simplest example of language involvement is the Mobius strip.
https://geometrization-language.webnode.com/products/true-false-problem-of-the-crete-the-example-of-what-language-has-structure/
Blogger's statistics show that the range is Africa and It extends to South America.
Apparently, the mathematical expression of the ramblings of the dimension of language may have become of interest to some people in this society.
My view is that the 21st century is the century of language. One example is the visual language, such as the characters you see on your PC.
https://geometrization-language.webnode.com/products/in-the-21st-century-language-will-definitely-become-one-of-the-most-important-theme-and-target-of-mathematics- For-us-all /
I wrote a little about languages and letters last spring.
https://sekinanzoho.weebly.com/8203the-days-of-ideogram.html
The deciphering of Greek letters also mentions the importance of letters. This is from the summer of the year before last.
https://sekinanzoho.weebly.com/the-days-of-decipherment.html In
Mobius strip, dimensions have meaning only on the premise of the existence of time.
That is, it only makes sense when it is oriented in the same direction in time.
The idea of time, rather than language, begins when I was in my twenties, in the early 1970s, when I read a treatise on the unmistakable genius of modern China, Kingdom Wei.
However, it took more than 30 years because I needed the expression mathematics to write an extension of it.
https://sekinanlibrary.weebly.com/the-time-of-wang-guowei.html
Wang Guowei's treatise states that the oracle bone script of the word Wataru indicates a situation in which a boat travels on both banks of the river. He states that from there the constant character will have a time-permanent meaning of "always."
That is, the letters indicate the passage of time.
https://sekinanlibrary.weebly.com/on-time-property-inherent-in-characters.html In
Europe and the United States, ideographic characters disappear historically quickly, so what is the sense of oriental characters like us? It was almost unrelated.
However, in recent years, visual elements such as visual characters represented by PCs, pictograms, LATEX, etc. have come out greatly.
LATEX is also regarded as one of the 20 most historic discoveries.
https://tug.ctan.org/info/symbols/comprehensive/symbols-letter.pdf
The pictograms of "emergency exits" that have come to be used worldwide also express the temporal action of "escape". ..
Just by looking at some of these, the time inherent in language may have given some implications to some people, such as language research.
But philosophically speaking, it is not universal to me. For that, mathematics was absolutely necessary.
In my case, a full-fledged encounter with mathematics required the presence of the French mathematician group Bourbaki. After all it was the 1970s.
Bourbaki made a decisive change in algebra in the second half of the 20th century.
https://geometrization-language.webnode.com/products/the-time-of-language-ode-to-the-early-bourbaki-to-grothendieck/
In parallel with this, the meaning of set theory, which grew rapidly at that time, I worked hard to pursue Kurt Gödel's incompleteness theorem, which fundamentally questioned what the consistency of theory was.
In this direction, Gaisi Takeuti's essay, which he had a close relationship with Godel, was a good guide.
https://srfl-paper.webnode.com/products/quantum-linguistics-growth-of-word-dedicated-to-takeuchi-gaishi/
But in set theory and basic mathematics, the mathematical representation of the language I think of is Although I was weak at that time, I felt that I couldn't do it enough yet.
I think it was probably after 1980 that mathematics evolved to the point where it could broadly and deeply express the fields of humanities and social sciences rather than languages.
The accumulation of the efforts of countless mathematicians had unknowingly provided significant benefits, perhaps unexpected.

https: //srflnews.blogspot.jp/2017/11/a-group-of-mathematicians.html //geometrization-language.webnode.com/products/language-amalgamation-of-mathematics-and-physics1/
I also followed the achievements of modern mathematics. Along the way, I met Eiichi Chino again in 1979 and was taught the existence of the Linguistic Circle of Prague and one of the people at the center, Sergej Karcevskij.
This was my decisive turning point.

https://sekinancomment.weebly.com/linguistic-circle-of-prague.html
https://sekinancomment.weebly.com/prague-in-1920s. html The
days I talked to at California, a coffee shop on the second floor that made a rattling noise with Chino, were precious and irreplaceable to me.
https://sekinancomment.weebly.com/under-the-dim-light.html
However, in order to express this direction in a direction suitable for oneself, that is, as algebraic geometry, from 1980 to 20 It took about a year.
It wasn't until the 2006 discussion by von Neumann algebra that my direction came to fruition as a mathematical expression.

https://geometrization-language.webnode.com/news/the-days-between-von-neumann-algebra- and-complex-manifold-deformation-theory /
The main papers after this will be written fairly precisely on some Zoho sites.
https://sekinanzoho.weebly.com/zoho-by-site.html
https://sekinanzoho.weebly.com/zoho-by-year.html The
major trends from 2003 to the present are outlined in the following essay. ..
https://sekinanzoho.weebly.com/the-comparison-between-2003-and-2017.html
And now I'm thinking about the geometry of the language.
Now that statistical iconographic analysis has come to be used in medicine, theoretical papers like myself may have some more realistic meaning in the future.
But that's not my original intention, I'm just chasing what I like.
Language universals is my lifelong goal.
https://geometrization-language.webnode.com/products/road-to-language-universals/
https://geometrization-language.webnode.com/
It may be difficult to understand because I mentioned it in a hurry, but in
conclusion I feel that in the last year or two, a situation has arisen in which some people read theoretical and abstract papers, as I have written.
The times may have come to feel that I need a little.
At the end of this email, I feel that it is important to continue research with a certain long-term perspective while dealing with the essential requirements for the time being.
I think it is important not to follow the times, but to follow your own free intentions and proceed in a super-era.
I wanted to talk about that, but I was busy that day, so I sent an email.
Please do your best.
Thank you very much for everything the other day.
Please take care of yourself.
