Yesterday I read Henry David Thoreau’s “ In Wildness Is the preservation of the World” with the photographs by Eliot Porter, 1962. I felt the universality of nature from the book, that is over the nations or the difference of the Occidental and Oriental. Thoreau’s sentences are so fine and delicate as the following.

Pray, what thing interest me at present? Along, soaking rain, the drops trickling down the stubble, while I lay drenched on last year’s bed of wild oats, by the side of some bare hill, ruminating.
